WHY THIS MINISTRY MATTERS
A Call to Repentance
Most of modern Christianity rests on the tradition of Sunday, not Scripture. The 7th Day Sabbath was established by God at creation, written by His finger in stone, honored by the Messiah, practiced by the Apostles, and never revoked anywhere in Scripture. Yet today, billions of sincere believers are taught that God’s holy day no longer matters — replaced by man-made tradition (SUNDAY).
TheSabbath.net exists to challenge this error with Scripture, history, and the Greek Manuscripts.
While this ministry is not 7th Day Adventist, we share a commitment to the authority of Scripture and the eternal morality of ALL 10 COMMANDMENTS. The Sabbath is not a denominational doctrine—it is a divine command established by God Himself.

364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), a group of Christian Bishops committed an unholy travesty and perverted the Sabbath Command. The Church of Rome (which would later become the Catholic Church) literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did!
Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Protestants ever since. 1700 years of man-made, Commandment-breaking dogma! (Google it!)

CHANGE 1: In the Catholic version of the Ten Commandments, they removed the original 2nd command to not bow down to idols from their CORRUPTED CATHOLIC VERSION. Why? Because they are idolaters who bow down to idols and worship Mary.
CHANGE 2: The Catholic hierarchy believed they had the authority to transfer the sacredness of the 7th day to the pagan, sun worshipers' holy day of Rome, Sunday.
CHANGE 3: To compensate for removing the original 2nd Commandment of not bowing to idols, they moved the remaining Commandments up one space.

No Gentile Christian was ever found in Church or a synagogue on Sunday in the Bible! The account cited in Acts 20 was an informal gathering in the “Upper Room” of someone’s house! It was not in the synagogue.

THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths and Festivals of Leviticus 23… such as Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, Feast of Trumpets, Feast of Tabernacles, Pentecost, and The Last Great Day… ARE ALL HIGH DAY SABBATHS! The first day of Passover & the Feast of Firstfruits ARE NOT SABBATHS!
COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 7 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths and Festivals!
Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. Romans 14:5 “One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.”
But Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of the Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23, where YHWH calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon and were annual, not weekly.

How sincere Christians BREAK ALL 10 COMMANDMENTS, when they break the 7th Day Sabbath Command!
1.Thou Shall Not Steal
The 4TH Commandment clearly teaches that the Sabbath belongs to God. It is the Sabbath of the Lord. (Exodus 20:10). But, every week, 2 Billion Christians & Catholics steal the Holy 7th Day for themselves, and treat the sacred day as a common day, not a Holy one. This theft of the Hallowed Day has been perpetuated for 1700 years.
2.Thou Shall Not Covet
Christians the world over love Saturdays for a whole host of reasons. They covet Saturday, the Holy 7th Day, for themselves. To shop, clean the house, cut the grass, watch sports, and who knows what else. For many, if not most… Saturday is their favorite day of the week, by far. And they don’t intend to sacrifice that multi-purpose day for anything, or anyone… INCLUDING GOD!
3.Thou Shall Not Commit Idolatry
The 1st Commandment declares that you shall not have any god before God. Yet, every weekend 2 billion Christians & Catholics reject the handwritten law of the Biblical God, and submit to the blasphemous law of the Pope and the Roman Church.
Instead of honoring the Holy Law handwritten in stone by GOD, they obey the man-made law written by men at the Council of Laodicea, in 364 AD, Catholic Canon #29. Which literally changed the Biblical Sabbath from the 7th Day, Saturday… to the first Day, Sunday. And they did so without a shred of Godly authority or heavenly permission. So, when you submit to the Pope over the clear word of the Living God… it’s idolatry and hypocrisy.
4.Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness
In order to justify a Sabbath breaking lifestyle, Sunday Christians typically must bad-mouth the Holy Sabbath Day. They have to make untrue claims such as... the day doesn’t matter. Or, Sunday is the Christian Holy Day, and the Sabbath is only for the Jews. Or, every day is a holy day. Or, the Sabbath is abolished and nailed to the cross. Or, the Sabbath is Mosaic Law and only applies to Jews. Get the picture?
Whatever phrase they/you may use, it’s done so in an effort to belittle, minimize, and delegitimize the Holy 7th Day. The blasphemy & lies against the Sacred Day of God are used to make what YHWH has sanctioned as holy at creation and in the 10 Commandments, as now being UNHOLY or BASIC.
5.Honor thy Father & Mother
The Most High God sanctified the 7th Day at Creation. He specifically chose this sacred day as His own. Six days He gives us to do our work & pleasure, but the 7th DAY BELONGS TO HIM! He commands that we honor Him on the day of His choosing, the Sabbath. But sadly, 2 billion Christians choose to honor the “Pope Father” & the Catholic “Mother Church” instead, by magnifying Sunday as a sacred day. While they deny, reject, AND EVEN DESPISE the institution of the 7th Day Sabbath. I believe this clearly dishonors our Father, YHWH and honors the Church of Rome!
6.Remember the Sabbath Day
The 6th victory of Satan is accomplished by deceiving Christians to break the Sabbath itself. It’s a demonic conquest every week when 2 billion Christians & Catholics ignore the precise Command to Remember the Sabbath. The one Commandment that YHWH specifically commanded that His people “Remember” is the very one billions of Christians & Catholics ceremoniously choose to forget.
ACTUALLY… SABBATH BREAKERS ARE GUILTY OF BREAKING ALL THE COMMANDMENTS WHEN THEY BREAK THE SABBATH, ACCORDING TO JAMES 2:10-11
JAMES 2:10-11 For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.
Please note that in James 2:10-11, Brother James specifically quoted from the 10 Commandments to give an accurate context of which set of Laws he was referring to. So, in closing, Christians dangerously view the 10 Commandments as TEN.

How to Keep the Sabbath Holy
The New Covenant Sabbath Commandment is different from the Mosaic Law burdens of Sabbath Keeping! You DO NOT need to be a 7th Day Adventist to be a Sabbath Keeper/Commandment Keeper. We're not. YHWH owns the Sabbath Day, not 7th Day Adventists!
Attending church on the Sabbath is indeed a blessing, but it's essential to recognize that honoring our Father's Holy 7th Day can be done right at home. Take the opportunity to rest, focus on spiritual matters, engage in study, prayer, and worship. Refrain from working your job and steer clear of secular activities. This sacred day is an opportunity to appreciate its beauty and holiness.
If you feel it's necessary you can still attend your Commandment breaking Sunday church, but going to Church on a Sunday does not replace YHWH's command and our obligation to "Remember the Sabbath Day!"
Commencing at Friday's sunset and concluding at Saturday's sunset, the Sabbath is a time to refrain from personal work, providing your spirit with the space to focus on higher things and diverting attention from monetary concerns. It's advised to avoid secular activities, idle conversations, and mindless TV and sports.
Recognize the sacredness of this time, and refrain from unnecessary distractions. Even when lapses occur, gently guide yourself back to the sanctity of the Sabbath. This sacred 24 hours belong to the Most High God, providing an opportunity for Bible study, prayer, rest, and relaxation.
If you have a family living with you, establishing the Sabbath standard may require patience. But the 4th Commandment is clear, the entire household is directed to observe the Sabbath Day. EXODUS 20:8-11.
The beauty of observing the Sabbath today is that it doesn't entail the burdensome extra rules of Mosaic Law. It's a day of blessing and spiritual rejuvenation. Remember that it's lawful to do good on the Sabbath, as exemplified by the Savior's healing actions on this holy day.

Codex Alexandrinus (400 AD). And as stated, they all fully agree that the Resurrection Day of the Son of God was the SABBATON (SABBATH), not the first day of the week!

The attached video link shows you with your own eyes and in your own Bible, that an Easter Sunday Resurrection is a Catholic-invented lie. AGAIN, the original Greek text NEVER mentions the “FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK” (SUNDAY) during these occurrences. Instead, each Resurrection scripture specifies that Christ rose on the “SABBATON” (Strong’s # G4521). Intriguingly, “SABBATON” is translated as “SABBATH” or “SABBATH DAY” 59 times in the New Testament. However, intentional mistranslations by the Church of Rome (Catholic Church) and subsequent translations have replaced “SABBATON” with “FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK.”
The Proof is 3-Nights Prophecy
This heresy occurs each time the Resurrection is cited to falsely support a sacred Sunday narrative. This alteration becomes particularly significant given the historical context, as Sunday held a sacred status for the sun-worshiping Romans of that era. Of course, the Church of Rome was too high and mighty (and likely antisemitic) to be associated with the Jewish practice of Sabbath Keeping. And the only way to pretend to justify Sunday as sacred was to pretend that Christ rose on that day.
The video also proves that it’s a Biblical and mathematical impossibility for the Savior to have been crucified on Good Friday and resurrected on Sunday morning. It’s literally impossible, based on the Messiah’s own prophecy! This is why you can’t get 3 days & 3 NIGHTS from Good Friday to Easter Sunday morning. The Accurate Resurrection Timeline
There were 2 SABBATHS THE WEEK THAT OUR LORD DIED. The first Sabbath was the Ceremonial Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which occurs the next evening after the start of the Passover week. This is the HIGH DAY SABBATH that forced the Jews to beg Pilate to remove Christ from the cross, before that Sabbath began at sunset. (JOHN 19:31 & LEVITICUS 23:5-8) Christianity pretends it was a Friday. But the Bible contradicts this common error. Because again, Christ said He would be in the grave, not just 3 days, but 3 NIGHTS, TOO. (Matthew 12:40). And there is no way in Heaven you can get 3 days & nights from a Friday afternoon Crucifixion to an early Sunday morning Resurrection.
RESURRECTION TIMELINE
I honestly can't blame anyone for being rattled trying to count the days. It can be tricky because our brain is so locked into the current time frames we've known all our lives. And we have to remember that a new "Biblical Day" starts at sunset, but the new day is at night. See what I mean? Here is the timeline of our Savior's Death, Burial & Holy Resurrection.
THE LORD DIED AT 3PM AND WAS BURIED ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE SUNSET (1 DAY)
THURSDAY AFTER SUNSET (1 NIGHT & Begins the Ceremonial Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread)

SATURDAY AFTER SUNSET SABBATH BEGINS (3 NIGHTS) THE LAMB OF GOD IS RISEN AFTER SUNSET BUT PRIOR TO SUNRISE. Just as the Bible affirmed that Mary and the other women arrive right before daybreak and our Messiah was already gone. And if He were in the tomb until after sunrise, that would have been 4 days, not three.
A blessed 3 days & 3 nights, according to the prophecy of our Christ, Himself. Matthew 12:40.
THE MESSIAH DIED ON A WEDNESDAY & ROSE ON SATURDAY BEFORE SUNRISE, THE HOLY SABBATH (SABBATON).
However, established Christian religions have capitalized on the complacency, and perhaps, the reluctance of their followers to research this crucial TRUTH! Counting the death and resurrection days can be disconcerting, and it’s entirely understandable given the complexities involved. Our brains are accustomed to the time frames we’ve known throughout our lives, and factoring in the new day starting at sunset adds an additional layer of intricacy. It’s a nuanced process that can be challenging to grasp at first. But the accurate death & resurrection days of our Savior are of the utmost importance for several spiritual reasons!
Additional Intentional Errors
This INTENTIONAL MISTRANSLATION HERESY also continues in the Book of Acts and 1 Corinthians. In the Greek language of the New Testament, SABBATON (Strong’s # G4521) was also mistranslated in two Scriptures that Churches erroneously use to validate their “Sunday as Sacred” dogma. Acts 20:7 & 1 Corinthians 16:1-2. The same blasphemy the Roman Catholic Church performed on the Resurrection Scriptures, they repeat here. They intentionally MISTRANSLATED the Greek word “SABBATON” to “WEEK.” and added “First Day” in front of it. And just like magic… SUNDAY!
"When in Rome..."
Rest assured, the Sun-worshipping Emperor, Constantine the Great, played a pivotal role in orchestrating this deceptive bait-and-switch. In 321 AD, he formally implemented the notorious SUNDAY LAW, which prohibited the operation of shops and businesses on the DAY OF THE SUN. In a calculated exchange for the compliance of the “Christian” religion to honor the “Venerable Day” of his Sun god (Sol Invictus), Constantine ceased the persecution of Christianity through the EDICT OF MILAN in 313 AD. Astonishingly, he professed to be Christian himself, citing a dream that allegedly instructed him to conquer BY THE SIGN OF THE CROSS. This narrative raises questions about the authenticity of such claims, particularly when juxtaposed with the teachings of Christ found in the Holy Bible.
Finally, in 364 AD, during the Council of Laodicea (CANON 29), the Roman Catholic Church cemented the culmination of this unholy manipulation. Committing the most egregious offense, they literally outlawed the observance of the Holy 4th Commandment, imposing a curse on those who dared to obey the Biblical Sabbath Commandment. Devoid of any Biblical authority, they audaciously attempted to shift the sanctity from the Holy 7th Day Sabbath to Sunday, the first day of the week. This heretical and blasphemous act has unfortunately persisted as the established norm for both Catholics and Christians alike ever since.
One Law Temporal... One Law Eternal
There are two sets of Biblical Laws. One set of Laws (hundreds of Mosaic Laws) have been fulfilled by the Messiah. The Savior gave us REST from the WORKS of the Law of Moses. And those ceremonial laws, ordinances, commandments, retributions, sacrifices, circumcisions, and death penalties have thankfully been nailed to the cross of the Savior. (Colossians 2:14). This is why we are no longer instructed to stone Sabbath breakers, adulterers, homosexuals, kidnappers, etc.
However, the 2nd set of Laws is totally distinguishable from the Law of Moses. And according to our Messiah, these Laws are eternal and lead to everlasting life (Matthew 19:16-17). The Laws I’m now speaking of are the holy, handwritten in stone, 10 Commandments. These 10 moral Laws are applicable until death do us part. Although Paul often wrote about the “curse of the law” (Mosaic Law), see what Paul says about the holy 10 COMMANDS: Romans 2:13 “For not the HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST in the sight of GOD, but the DOERS OF THE LAW WILL BE JUSTIFIED.” Yet, Christians & Catholics seem to pretend that there are only 8 or 9 Commandments to obey, but there are 10.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS and the Law of Moses are not the same. Moses wrote the 613 Mosaic Laws in a book… Deuteronomy 31:24 “So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished.” But our Heavenly Father wrote His perfect and eternal Laws, in stone. THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY YHWH: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.” Moses broke the first set of stone tablets in righteous anger. YHWH rewrote a duplicate copy, again in stone. Exodus 34:1, 28.
Disobeying ANY of our Heavenly Father’s 10 Commandments is a very dangerous habit that most Christians & Catholics practice. The half-brother of the Messiah, through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warned against this rebellious lifestyle. He declared that if you break one of the laws, you’re guilty of all 10. James 2:10-11: “For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.”

As children of the Most High God, we are not to cherry-pick which of His handwritten-in-stone 10 Laws we deem are worthy of our obedience. The 10 Commands are the Supreme Laws in the entire Bible. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. And the New Testament clearly teaches that our Savior and His Disciples honored the holy 7th Day Sabbath. The 7th Day is the only weekday that the Bible ever declared as blessed, hallowed, and sanctified.
